Register Your Privately-Owned WPEngine Hosting Account
We highly recommend you sign up for a WPEngine (3rd party) hosting account. Your website will be top-notch in terms of web performance, security, and instantaneous recovery backups in case of emergencies.
You owning your own hosting account does not give you any more responsibility; rather, it gives you full control of your website to do with as you please in the future.
WPEngine Signup
- Sign up for WPEngine hosting for 1 year at $290 using the following link: WPEngine Personal Hosting
- Click the “See Our Plans” button, and scroll down the page until you see the list of plans, then select the personal plan for $29/month by clicking the “Host My Website” button
- Then select the annual plan of $290/year instead of monthly at $29/month if you would prefer to save 2 months by paying up front
- Please choose the name of your organization as the account name – this is temporary anyway
- Fill out the rest of the account and billing info and hit the “Create My Site” button
- You’ll get an email with account information, please forward to us
Add Novachrom as an Admin User
- Go to my.wpengine.com
- Log in with your credentials
- Click “users” tab at the top
- Click “add user” button
- Fill my name and email “[email protected]”
- For account access give me “full with no billing” (you remain the owner with top level control)
Select and Acquire a Domain Name
(if you have one, skip this step)
- If you know what domain you want, go to GoDaddy domain search to select your domain.
- If you don’t know what domain you want, experiment with domain names at instantdomainsearch.com for faster response times on available domains.
- Chose one that’s not too long, representative, and freely available.
- Purchase your domain at GoDaddy domain search.
